Music, Consciousness & Placid Wakefulness (EP Launch)
On the 28th November, electronic label Vasuki Sound is proud to present a unique event exploring the intersection of music and psychology, to celebrate the official release of Placid Wakefulness, the latest EP from Michael Diamond. Kindled by his work as a medical doctor and researcher, Placid Wakefulness explores the opposing states of sleep and wakefulness in Michael’s unique musical style, seamlessly blending jazz and electronic influences. Michael will be joined on the night by Professor Eric Clarke of the University of Oxford, a world expert in music psychology. Together, they will lead a discussion around music, psychology and health in general, with ample opportunity for participation. Expect a thought-provoking exploration of the close interplay between music and states of consciousness, soundtracked by the first full play-through of the Placid Wakefulness EP.

Oscillation Winter Takeover!
Autumn to winter, 10-2am every last Saturday of the month.
Oscillation are back after our residency earlier this year with another four shows seeing us through to 2025 !
They will be joined by some wicked musical company each month as we play records back-to-back all night long.
